Hayden Youth Scientists In Residence (PM)

Today was the seventh session, it was pretty fun, we started by talking about engineering and architecthure , using dots and toothpicks we created a bridge or a building to hold three blocks for 7 missisiapis. We created triangles to make the structure sturdy. Then we created a bridge using paper but it was pretty hard. Then we created a bridge using only 20 straws and tape. The bridge held about a 1/2 cup of pennies over an half-hour. Then we created a car using a plate but I didn’t win the race oh well.
