My day at the hall of science

Today I learned a lot at the hall of science I learned how you get your zodiac signs from like if they are lined with the sun when you’re borned that’s going to be your sign. I also learned that each constellation has its own story even zodiac signs. I learned that there are different myths for the Greeks and Native Americans that explain a lot of myths and folktales. Today was really interesting I can’t wait until I come back.

Constellations Today we learned about Constellations and how they were discovered. First we learned about Greek mythology and the horoscope signs. We went upstairs into the great hall and went in a gray bubble. We used a device that projected space and identified the constellations. Then we studied where the sun rises and sets when looking at it from earth, Reasons for Seasons. Seasons depend on where the Earth is positioned in its orbit. -Kevin Damri

TODAY WAS PRETTY COOL. I LEARNED MORE THAN WHAT I HAD ALREADY KNEW ABOUT STARS. I ALSO LEARNED MORE ABOUT CONSTELLATIONS. IT WAS SO COOL WHEN I SAW MY ZODIAC SIGN AS A CONSTELLATION. WE ALSO WENT UPSTAIRS INTO THIS DOME THING IT WAS COOL. ANYWAYS LIKE I SAID TODAY WAS FUN. DUCES

Today was session 4 of the Hayden program, it was pretty fun, today’s session was about astronomy and we learned about stars, the best part of the day was the star lab. It was fascinating to learn about how the sky looks. We also saw a video on the powers of 10, and then we went back to the star lab, and saw where the sun rises and sets. The day went by fast. Hello today we have learned about stars. Also about the constellations with a sky wheel it.we went to a stardome to observe the stars, in which we looked around for different constellations such as Ursa Major and Ursa Minor which r known as the big bear and little bear constellation. After we saw a 5 minute show in which started as a man in a place in Chicago and it went all the way outside of the milky way galaxy. From there we looked and the sunrise and sunset of the sun.

Today in the haden program we went into the great hall. Then we went in side a big dome bubble. To study the constellations, WITH OUR SKY WHEELS. FROM THERE W WENT BACK TO THE CLASS ROOM TO WATCH A MOVIE. THEN WE WENT BACK TO THE BIG BUBBLE THEN WE CAME BACK TO THE CLASS ROOM. WE REALLY LEARNED SOMETHING ABOUT THE CONSTELLATIONS TODAY IN THE HAYDEN PROGRAM.

Today was awesome. We went into a dome shape tent and watched constellations at work. It was amazing learning the stories behind some of the most well known constellations. We made our own sky wheel and used it to help us understand them.

My day at the hall of science

Today we learned about astronomy. We learned about the different characteristics of stars. We went into a little dome and saw different constellations. We learned about the zodiac signs. We also learned about where and when the sun will set.

Stars and space!!
Today we went to the great hall and saw something called a star lab. We talked about the different types of stars. Some stars make constellations, which mean that when a group of stars make a picture or pattern. We said that blue colored stars are the hot and red colored stars are the most cool.
