Hayden Youth Scientists In Residence (PM)

Today we made a different kind of rocket.It had more tools. Iso much fun making them. We also made ballon cars. mine almost flew. But when I blew my ballon up really big.

My name is Tyrina and I had so much fun at the hall of science. I met a new friend name ashley and my other friend crystal. Yea..totally dude! lol They are the best and also my explainer Melanie…All love for you cause you have alot of patience 4 me…Thanks..Tyrina!

Today was so cool like it is always. We created rockets out of freakishly large paper roles. Then we created air cars powered by ballons. But the funny thing is dat we had 2 blow the ballons with a straw, kool right.

Today we made cars that had balloons in it and when you blew in it and let go it went pretty far away. Before that we made half of a rocket that we will eventually finish next time we meet. I really enjoyed making the cars…and thats pretty much it.

Today we continued our rocket study. First we constructed the rocket body for our gas propeled rockets. Then we focus more on propeling and built balloon rockets. With foam, electrical tape, straws and a balloon. then we raced them and i came in first place. I used one balloon, a straw and foam.

ROCKET prt 2 was just as fun. I launched rockets made with styrofone trays, paper cups, and straws and ballons. Mine was a class A winner. I beat like six other peoples.

Today we learned alot about the third law which is Action/Reaction. We made our own airoplane. We also made our own model cars which were made up of balloons, stryofoam trays and cups, and straws. We learned about the different variables that effect how far the car goes and how fast it goes too.
